Well at least till today when Jazz Air, a regional airline in Canada, kicked off a "brutally" smelling passenger off one of its flight. The man was reported to be an American visiting Prince Edward Island.

"People were just mumbling and staring at him," said a woman who sat near the man, according to The Guardian, a newspaper in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, where the flight originated on February 6. It was a very uncomfortable situation, she added.

Another passenger described the smell as "brutal."

Jazz Air spokeswoman Manon Stuart confirmed that a passenger was "deplaned" from the flight, but she could not provide specific information about the person involved or the reason why he was asked to leave because of privacy issues.

The judge said McDonalds had acted too severely in sacking the woman. 'The cost of a slice of cheese is not comparable to a severe step such as redundancy,' Nos quoted the judge as saying.

In addition, the branch manager had not asked the woman to explain her actions, nor had it taken any steps against the colleague who asked for the burger. It is unclear from the reports if the hamburger was actually paid for.

The sacked worker will not be reinstated but was awarded €4,500 in compensation - equivalent to five month's wages plus holiday pay and interest, Nos said.

An alert 54-year old bank customer in Wisconsin trying to protect his wife leaped over rope lines and wrestled a would-be robber to the ground.

Surveillance video inside the Guardian Credit Union building in suburban Milwaukee caught the whole incident on camera from multiple angles.

West Allis police said a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and mask handed notes to three tellers demanding money.

The suspect, 23-year-old Senister Smith, shoved the money in a bag and was about to leave when he was tackled from behind by a man wearing a yellow shirt.

The customer wrestled Smith to the floor and held him until police arrived because he said he feared for the safety of his wife who was standing near the suspect.

Smith was charge with armed robbery.

Sara claims that she called the university at least three times, but she was told that it wasn't a mistake. So, like any other person, she spent the money towards medical bills and a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta.

On April 17, the employee was to be paid a gratuity of $29.87, but because of a "mistake," court documents say a total of $29,387 was deposited into her account.

Although, the lawsuit claims Gaspar never notified the university about the inappropriate gratuity, Gaspar insists she did.

The woman says she called the university at least three times, saying, "I think there's a problem."

But Gaspar says catering officials told her there was no mistake and that supervisors told her only that they would pass the message on to the human resources department.

When she didn't hear back, Gaspar said she assumed the gratuity was intentional. After years of medical problems and hard times, she believed she was finally catching a break.

"I was so excited," Gaspar said. "I thought, I could pay some of these bills."

The former employee has also since contacted an attorney and says she was told that because the money was under "gratuity" and not "wages" that she was in the clear.

The enormous tip indeed went toward medical bills and a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta, Gaspar said.

It wasn't until May that university officials discovered the mistake and contacted Gaspar, according to court documents. Notre Dame is now seeking repayment of the $29,387 plus attorney fees and other court expenses.

However, Gaspar says there is no money to be collected. It's all gone.

"I don't have anything," she says.

In case you are caught, you will be given a citing and fined for $500. If you faily to clean after yourself, you can be fined double the amount.

 

"We as a municipality do not have a municipal public urination piece," said Councilman Bruce Kraus, who wrote the legislation. That forces police to charge those caught sullying the streets with either disorderly conduct -- which doesn't always hold up in court -- or public lewdness, which can land the defendant on the registry of sex offenders.

"At least these people should clean up after themselves, and they don't," said Councilwoman Darlene Harris, who called it "the wee-wee bill."

Councilman Jim Motznik suggested an alternative. "I honestly believe that yourself, other elected officials at the state levels, community group leaders, need to get involved and maybe put some more bathrooms in the South Side," he said to Mr. Kraus, who lives on the South Side, where sidewalk urination is a continuing problem.

"I don't see a solution as port-a-potties on street corners," said Mr. Kraus. Instead, he wants stricter enforcement of rules compelling bars to provide enough bathrooms.

• She had her breasts fondled by Daniel Melia, 36, with whom she had become friendly. They were also seen kissing each other. The amorous act happened in full view of passengers as Daniel Melia's girlfriend slept on the plane.

"They were having a conversation and getting personal with each other and the child was crying.
